Midlothian Park District Mission Statement
The Midlothian Park District is a separate municipal agency created to provide programs, recreational facilities and personal development. Our goal is to further enhance our programs, parks and facilities for the residents of Midlothian.

Midlothian Park District occasionally takes photographs or video of participants for promoting/advertising our programs, events, activities and facilities in our brochures, website, agency social media, and other promotional avenues. By registering for, participating in or attending Midlothian Park District programs, events or other activities, the participant (or parent/guardian of a minor participant) irrevocably agrees to the use and distribution by Midlothian Park District of his or her image (or of his minor child/ward) in photographs, video recordings, and any other electronic reproductions of such programs, events and activities for any purpose without inspection or approval and without compensation, rights to royalties or any other consideration now and in the future.
The entire feel must be paid at the time of registration unless otherwise specified. If payment is made by check, please make checks payable to Midlothian Park District. Any individual who submits a non-sufficient funds check for payment will be charged any administrative costs we incur. In addition, all future registration fees must be paid by cash, certified check, money order or credit card. You can use your Visa/MasterCard/Discover or bankdebit card with the Visa/MasterCard logo. Please note that there is a $25.00 minimum on all credit (not debit) card transactions.
The park district reserves the right to cancel or postpone any activity prior to the start of the activity. If an activity is cancelled, those enrolled will receive a full refund.
We accept online registration for most programs and trips.
Proof of Residency
Resident prices are subject to verification of residency. A driver's license or water bill is he best proof of residency. If you cannot prove you are a Midlothian resident, you will be charged the non-resident rate.
Available Spaces in Programs
Registration will be accepted on a first come, first served basis for all programs and trips. If a trip or program is filled, waiting lists will be formed. Every attempt will be made to accomodate people on these lists.
Brochure/School Flyer Information
The Midlothian Park District sends out a brochure to all Midlothian residents three - four times a year. If you do not receive a brochure at your home and you live in Midlothian, please call us at (708) 371-6191. We also periodically send out flyers to schools, the library and Village Hall on a monthly basis.

Nothing Kills a Progam....
More quickly than people who wait until the last minute to sign up!! We have deadlines we have to meet and without signups, we unfortunately have to cancel the trip or program. Please sign up for a trip or program as soon as you are interested in it so we don't have to cancel.
There are times when errors are found or changes must be made to times, dates, days, registraion requirements, instructors or fees. We spologize for any errors that may occur. We will advise you on the changes as soon as possible. The front office has a master copy of the brochure will all the changes in it. Thank you for your patience and understanding when these situations arise.
Please call or visit the Athletic and Recreation Center to request a refund. There will be a $5.00 service fee deducted from all refunds.
Refunds for Programs, Events and Trips
Refunds will of 100% will be made, less a $5.00 service charge, if notified at least 2 working days prior to the start of the program**
A 50% refund will be given if notified prior to the second course meeting
Refunds will not be given for one day seminars, trips or special events
Requests for refunds can be made by calling or visiting the Athletic & Recreation Center
Full refunds will be given without penalty for cancellation initiated by the park district or illness with a doctor's note.
** Does not apply to Day Camp or League Fees
Refunds for Parties
If notice is one month or less, there will be no refund of the deposit or fees
Refunds for Gym/Turf Sport Rentals
If less than 72 hours notice is given, there will be no refund of fees
Refunds for Picnic Permits
There will be no refunds due to weather
If notice of one month or less is given, there will be no refund of deposit or fees
Refunds Sports Field Rentals
Only the Superintendent of Parks or Superintendent of Recreation will cancel a game due to weather.
If less than 72 hours notice is given, the deposit will be forfeited.
Refunds for Day Camp and League Fees
No refunds without the approval of the Director
Refunds for Annual Fitness Center Memberships
Refunds granted minus the pro-rated Monthly Membership rate
